White Dress.

Sugar, Spice & Everything Nice.

When I was a young child my grandmother kept a drawer in her kitchen filled with toys, crafts, & knick-knacks of all kinds. This draw was inevitably called the "junk drawer" which despite the name, I considered all findings treasures. The drawer was what I anticipated most about visiting her each & every time. I still love the thrill of searching through undiscovered crafts and Etsy.com makes it possible! Recently I discovered a talented jewelry designer named Michelle Chang who makes all of her pieces herself at a surprisingly reasonable price. The pieces are delicate fun-sized everyday jewelry with nature-inspired designs ranging from kittens, stars, snakes & skulls. My personal favorites are the 14K gold pyramid stud earrings & 14K gold & silver baby skull ring with diamond eyes. To grab your own shop online at etsy.com

Looks like Sunshine.

As much as I love falling asleep to rain, I very much enjoy waking up to sunshine. This morning, this was not the case. So to boost the mood and get over this dreary weather I found an artist I quite like named, Janice Jong. The majority of her illustrations are ink drawn & then scanned & digitally colored. This one in particular is a cheerful row of houses in South London. To check out more of her city-scape inspired work check out etsy.com and find your own slice of happy.

Christopher Kane for Topshop

It's hard to escape the non-stop talk about the much anticipated line from Christopher Kane for Topshop Fall 2009 collection that was released this past week. The Scottish designer did not disappoint with his biggest collection for Topshop yet with crocodile print tops, bodycon dresses, frocks, slinky tees, leggings and even hoodies. The 39 effortless edgy pieces are carefully embellished with sequins, fringe and eyelet. The pieces run from 60 to about 300 dollars and well worth the buck, shop the collection in stores & online.
